No Bayou Archive This Month, and Here's Why

You may have noticed that there was no new Bayou Archive issue this month.

I wanted did not want to leave y’all in the dark. No, I didn't forget to do it and no I did not get lazy or anything. Skipping it this September was intentional.

I wanted to be able to give my full focus to the Southern Gothic horror novel that is currently in the works on right now it is called, The Tooth Fairy Drowns Here. Simply put, I didn't want the Archive pulling my attention in a different direction while I'm trying to get this book to you within the deadline I have set for myself. No, I will not tell you when that is just yet. I am sorry but I have to save the suspense a little bit.

If you were looking forward to The Bayou Archive Issue No. 4 this month I do apologize but I am using this time to create something much better. In the meantime, if you haven't checked out the Archive yet, there are currently three issues already out and waiting on you in the shop section of my website. Mae's Peach Cobbler, Keep the Dead Quiet, and The Debt We Buried. Each one stands completely on its own, so pick whichever pulls you in first.

The Archive isn't going anywhere. It'll be back. Right now, Belle Morte just needs the attention so it can grow rich and deep roots.
